Bumbo!

We got a bumbo for Isaac off of Craig's List! Our first purchase of many purchases I'm sure. He doesn't quite look happy here, but he likes it! One of his favorite things to do is to sit up and look around at everything and everyone around him.

Listen closely...Isaac wasn't quite in the mood to smile for us. ; )

Isaac at the Parent Commitment Service

The picture is a little blurry, but on May 17th (Mother's Day), Ryan, Isaac, and I participated in the Parent Commitment Service at our church, FBC Frisco. There were 9 other children to be dedicated. After Isaac had his turn, he fell asleep! It was so adorable! What a joy!

Isaac's first blackeye!

Isaac has been gnawing on his fists lately because he is starting the process of teething! Can you believe it?! At some point in the middle of the night one night, he poked himself in the eye. It started out as a red spot under his eye and by the end of the day it was black and blue! Little slugger!

First Time blogger/Isaac's first cereal

Well, I'm new to this so be patient with me. So I guess it's okay that we're just starting. Isaac is now 4 months old. Is it too late? He had his first rice cereal tonight at bedtime. He was not very happy about it. He was hungry for his bottle! However, you're supposed to feed the cereal first so that he's hungry and motivated to eat the cereal. He screamed all through the cereal. He just kept eating it though. Patience pays off! He finally got to have his bottle, and he was happy! We'll see if it helps him sleep through the night! He's not slept through the night in several nights. Well, more to come later (with pictures of course). This blogging is going to help me remember to take pictures of all of his "firsts". As you might be able to tell, I forgot to take pictures of his first cereal meal. (there aren't any pics with this post) :) Until next time!
